Sept. 2009 I would like to thank you all for the hard work you are doing on this special program. The reports have been wonderful and a joy to read. Keep it up Sisters. My goal with you this year is to share our pride of America with everyone. Promoting pride and making sure that the public never forgets the sacrifices of our Veterans and their families and our military and their families have made on our behalf. I believe the sisters in the great organization are a very important part of our American culture. So yell and scream and tell all how proud we are to be in America. Freedom isn’t free! Let’s get out and help out all we can. Promote and educate in our schools, churches, any place in the community that needs us. Donate flags to the schools and help them to fly them high with pride. We need to promote patriotism by observing our Patriotic Holidays; teaching the proper care of the flag. Hold educational programs about flag etiquette in our schools, nursing homes, churches, day cares or any place the needs your knowledge. I know you all do so much already, but please do a little more. Please report, promote and raise the flag for our wonderful country and the elite organization we are so lucky to be a part of. I know we will show “Service To Our Veterans is Love in Action” and we certainly know “It’s Time for America’s Military Heroes”. Love to all! POW/MIA REMEMBRANCE DAY…SEPTEMBER 18TH THE MILITARY MEN AND WOMEN WHO ARE EITHER PRISONERS OR MISSING AND HAVE NOT COME HOME YET, BUT WERE THE FIRST IN LINE UP TO DEFEND THEIR COUNTRY IN ALL WARS AND AREAS OF CONFLICT GOLD STAR MOTHERS DAY…SEPTEMBER 25TH EVERY DAY IS HARD FOR THE MOTHERS OF SONS AND DAUGHTERS WHO WERE KILLED IN ACTION. SHOW THEM YOUR LOVE AND UNDERSTANDING.
